Family Photo Shoot

We are to cheap and in school for professional pictures, for Christmas cards Candice and I traded off taking each others pictures. My kids decided it was best not to cooporate at all, we did get some pictures. After trying to get both kids to smile and look at the camera at the same time- I want to pull my hair out! Exhausting work, how do pro's do it! Bribes or drugs??

Picture takin' time

Here goes, I wanted to get GOOD pictures of our family, Darrin had been working a ton so we never had time to get a fam picture. I decided to try all by myself.

WOW, how on earth do you get 2 little boys to pose together, both looking at the camera, and not move. Pretty much an impossible task.

This is about 15 seconds into the photo shoot. They both started jumping up and down on the chair, like it was the best outing ever. So I decided to try another location that might be more boring.......

Nope, stairs are way to interesting.

I even tried putting them in a decorative basket, nope that didn't work either. The little escape artists.

At last, 100 pictures taken, a mother who you could say is losing her cool, but hey one great picture!

Park Photo Shoot

There is a gorgeous park right by our place. Candice was in town so perfect timing for an extra hand for photo time! My 2 studs!

My super adorable, handsome boys! They are such good brothers and great munchkins!

Attempted Photo Shoot

Ethan " Yeah mom, like I can sit up and my brother is going to help"
"This is just plain funny now"
"Nope, big brother will not get out of the shot, he wants the spotlight with me"

"Ka-pow" I am a ninja"

So my grand idea of having my baby and my 20 month old cooperate during a photo shoot might have been a little to much to ask. Worth a shot. :)

Hansome baby boy

From the rate that Colby is growing I seem to forget that he is still so young. I keep forgetting that he needs so many naps and that he sleeps so much. Babies sleep so much. I am shocked by that. I keep thinking each day he gets older he will not take one of his naps or they will go down considerably in time, like maybe only sleep 5 minutes instead of 2 or 3 hours. I am wrong.

Photo Shoot

I try to stay busy during the day while Darrin is at work. I figure in a couple of years Colby will not like me to take his picture so I must get them in now. For Fathers Day Darrin received a frame with some of the photos from the shoot- here they are. My men in my life are SO CUTE!
